What is On-site Chair Massage?

On-site Chair Massage is a short, seated massage which:

  1. Comes to you. (e.g. Conventions; Workplace; Hospitality Suites; Grand Openings)

  2. Is given by professional Licensed and Nationally 
    Certified Massage Therapist and Bodyworkers.

  3. Usually lasts from 5 to 30 minutes, no oils or lotions are used , 
    and takes place while attendees are fully clothed.

  4. Usually covers such areas as the head, neck, shoulders,
    back, arms and hands and/or feet. It also, can be adapted 
    to special needs.

  5. Helps remove tension and stress leaving clients relaxed 
    and refreshed.   

A portable massage chair, designed for comfort and support and can be adjusted quickly to fit almost any size body, is used. Each chair is manned by one massage therapist and the chair can be set up and dismantled quickly in almost any location. 

Disposable face cradle covers are used for each massage and the massage therapists use disinfectant wipes for their chair and instant hand sanitizers before and after giving each massage.

     
What are Chair Massage Relaxation or Refreshment Stations:

Chair Massage Relaxation Stations or Refreshment Station are the same:

  1. Consists of one, or more portable massage chairs and 
    licensed massage therapists.

  2. Are located in a designated area or booth, where attendees and/or show management and exhibitors can go get a short massage when they need to relax and/or recharge.

  3. Normally are provided by an interested sponsor or 
    exhibitor for show attendees and VIPs.

  4. Can be setup in almost any location in the Convention Center
    e.g. Exhibit Hall; Exhibitor Booths; Registration Area; Concourse Area;
    Exhibitor and/or VIP Lounges.

  5. Can also be set-up as a concessionaire service at events when no sponsors are available.

Individual massage chair stations may be placed in various locations thru out an event, such as lounge areas or rest stops on the exhibit floor or at Hospitality Suites.

How Effective is Chair Massage?  

According to psychologist Tiffany Field, director of the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and colleagues at Duke University, “any one who needs to stay alert and focused should get a massage –quick!”

In a controlled study, subjects who received 10-15 minute chair massages, EEG results showed that they had a decrease in alpha and beta brain waves (indicating greater alertness) and an increase in delta waves, suggesting they were more relaxed. They also worked math computations faster and more accurately than the group who only rested for the same period of time.

Anyone who has rubbed a stiff neck or sore feet knows how effective and how good massage feels. When we feel better, we perform better!

What does your company supply?

1.       Massage chairs, disposable face cradle covers, peppermint disinfectant wipes, aloe instant hand sanitizer, small digital clocks, relaxing music, CD player, small waste baskets, small tables for massage supplies, tropical & floral plants (silk), easels, stanchions for crowd control, sign-in sheets, professional licensed massage therapists with khaki pants and white golf shirts with company logo. (Sponsor has option to supply therapists with different attire or shirts with sponsor’s company logo). 

2.     Liability protection for venue, event organizers/organization, sponsors, host and/or any of their clients, related subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions and staff. 

How much does it cost to sponsor a Massage Relaxation Station?

Cost is based on an hourly rate per licensed massage therapist per show or event. The more time you utilize our services, the lower the hourly rate.
